To better understand this, look at a picture of something you want. You'll see that sometimes you get some feelings, like you already have it. You'll also see that the feeling wears off after a while or after you see the picture a few times, you don't feel anything anymore. So you see, there's 2 possible situations when you look at that picture:
- It FEELS real
- It's just a picture
Sometimes, just because you think you can, it's enough for something to feel real because you know you will get it. Sometimes when you imagine having what you want, it becomes real in your mind. Other times, you know it's just imagination.
Bottom line is: when it is real in your mind, that's when you're making it real in your life. So make it real in your mind, any way you can. That's the goal! The rest will take care of itself :)
Knowledge - make it real.
ReplyDeleteMethod- ?
Notice how you make some events that will happen in the future, real in this moment. I could go on with "Just feel it" "Imagine you already have it" "Ask yourself how you would feel if you had it" and other methods. But impersonal methods rarely work because we are different. Personal methods are perfect because you create them exactly as you need and can.
ReplyDeleteYou wouldn't like somebody to tell you HOW to use your computer, would you? It would feel awkward to be using some impersonal method(s).
When you will find your method, it will be The Best :)
I know exactly what you mean. Ive read a lot of self help stuff and the ideas are great to keep my thoughts coming, but what i found is, that if I came up with a solution to one of my problems, then that solution was often so much more powerful than anything that other people might have told me. That was really a revelation to me. I think the road to a happy life leads over ourselves dealing with the things that we consider negative/problematic and come up with our own solutions. Solutions other ppl might give us are totally fine tho, to stimulate our own process I guess. Thats why Steve Pavlina f.e. encourages ppl to experiment as much as possible, i think. Anyway, great blog! Really rings a bell with me :)
ReplyDeleteThank you :). Another thing with following our own path is the fact that no one knows better what we are, how we are, what we got, what we believe, what we're good at. I had a saying: "Don't think about the how, think about the what" long before The Secret was made. If you think long enough about WHAT you need to do, the how will come. If you think too long about the how, most often you forget the what and second of all, the how is artificial and doesn't help much... Most of the time!
ReplyDeleteSlick, great explanation, but lets be more specific, if i want to manifest something, how long do i have to practise that feeling having that? All day, a month, year?
ReplyDeleteWhen the feeling becomes dominant, the full manifestation appears. Let's put it this way: if you feel the feelings of having it, 5% of the day then you will have, at that moment, 5% of the whole picture. An example would be, if you want a romantic partner and you occasionally feel like you already have that, what could manifest is meeting a few new people. You may not even realize that this is that 5% but it doesn't even matter. Keep Feeling Building™ and as the dominant vibe changes, reality will keep reflecting that.
ReplyDeleteBiggest obstacle in all of this: brain. How to overcome it? Stop using brain. No brain required for Feeling Building™ :).
Interesting post but for me, some days I feel a great feel of what I want manifested but other days it just feels like "am ok... this is not gonna happen, stop kidding yourself" type of feeling. It just seems to good to be true but I want to believe so bad! I want proof so I can say "WOW" I just did that. I want to help people realize that they can have anything they desire. I want them to go like "oh its that easy," "I really can manifest what I want?" "I don't have to settle or struggle get by?", make it so easy for them to believe. But I know as humans, one of our limiting beliefs is needing proof to believe. Good job on what you are doing, you don't have to do it but you do, many thanks!
ReplyDeletebut I want to believe so bad! = "but I feel so disconnected from it, it feels so far away, I feel not having it so much more than I feel having it"
Deleteyou don't have to do it but you do - thanks, never looked at it this way :)
After reading your comment above, well I must say, I realize what was wrong and why I am not fulfilling my desires, I noticed a pattern in my comments, I did not notice that till I read your comments. Many thanks.
